Signing a Deal Tomorrow? It's Scheduled! /Lt Col Daniel Davis⚠️ Why tomorrow’s ‘deal signing’ may collapse on contact with reality
President Trump now says the U.S.–Iran deal will be signed tomorrow. Pakistan is announcing a signing ceremony. Iranian clerics are signaling unity behind a decision. Headlines are exploding with certainty. But as I walk through in this episode, the reality beneath the surface is far murkier — and far more dangerous — than the public narrative suggests. For any agreement to be real, both sides must sign the exact same text. Yet the U.S. and Iran remain on “different planets” on the core issues. Iran’s senior officials have repeatedly insisted that “if there’s no money up front, there’s no deal… if sanctions aren’t lifted up front, there’s no deal… if Israel doesn’t withdraw from Lebanon, there’s no deal.” Those were categorical red lines as of last night. And yet today, President Trump is declaring victory in advance — even as Iran’s state‑controlled Fars News Agency says the agreement “has not been finalized and will definitely not take place on Sunday.” That is not a small discrepancy. That is a fundamental contradiction. I also break down why this moment is so volatile:
This episode matters because the public narrative — “deal tomorrow, war over” — is colliding with the hard reality of diplomacy, leverage, and political constraints. Someone is going to have to back down dramatically. And if neither side does, we may be hours away from a renewed escalation in the Iran war. 👉 Watch the full episode — before tomorrow’s announcement becomes tomorrow’s crisis.
